The Edge is designed for use on the varying sizes & depths of “Kick-Plate” and other structural plate metal found on industrial & commercial work sites.

During the common practice of rigging steel slings over kick-plate to capture the rated structural steel work below, they are often kinked & damaged due to the abrupt turning of the sling over the kick plate… Kinking introduces a significant loss of strength as well as the costly and regular need for replacement when damaged.

The Edge offers an increased bend radius for the sling rest upon and retain the full strength of the wire ropes rating..

• The Edge may be used with statically loaded wire rope slings as seen in the below left image. Nylon "round slings" and common "tape slings" may also be used in The Edge.
• The Edge may be used with rope dia's up to 15mm. The clevis pin secures the rope or sling with-in the product offering an additional level of protection.
• The Edge may be used in many different configurations after a full & complete assessment of risk for the specific application.

• The Edge may be used with static, low stretch & dynamic kern-mantle rope.
